I was born in Chicago and moved to Phoenix at 11. I grew up in Arizona’s public schools right here in Congressional District 8 — shaped by the same struggles working families in this community still deal with every single day.

Like a lot of young people trying to survive, I took whatever jobs I could get. I’ve worked the kind of jobs most politicians talk about but would never last a day in. I scrubbed dishes in the back of a restaurant. I’ve lived paycheck to paycheck. I know what it’s like to work hard, be a good person, and still feel like you can't afford this economy.

College is where I got into organizing and fighting for causes I believed in. I saw firsthand that when regular people band together, we can push back against broken systems, demand fairness, and force the government to actually work for the people it claims to represent.

I’ve also made mistakes. I’ve had run-ins with the law, including a DUI in 2024. I’m not hiding from it or pretending it didn’t happen. I own it. I learned from it, I paid the price, and I’ve grown. I’m running not in spite of my past, but because redemption, accountability, and second chances matter. I know what it's like to fall down and get back up.

Now I’m running for Congress because working families, renters, students, veterans, and young people deserve someone who actually understands their reality — not another career politician backed by big donors. I’m not funded by insiders or corporations. I’m powered by regular people who are tired of being ignored.

This campaign isn’t just about flipping a seat — it’s about building the kind of future Arizona deserves.
